2. Agreeing to these Terms

By using the Website, signing in, submitting the intake form, or booking a conversation, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

To use this service you must be at least eighteen (18) years old and ordinarily resident in, and physically located in, India.

The Website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect the personal data of anyone under eighteen. If we discover that we have, we will delete it.

3. What the service is

We offer a one-to-one career conversation of approximately 30 to 45 minutes with Samaksh Gupta ("the Conversation").

Depending on what is useful to you, we may discuss your career goals, your resume, your LinkedIn profile, interview preparation, current hiring practices, or a plan for your job search.

What the service is not

  • It is not a recruitment, staffing, placement or executive search service. We do not represent you to employers.
  • It is not an offer of employment, a guarantee of an interview, or a guarantee of any employment outcome.
  • It is not legal, financial, immigration, medical or psychological advice.
  • It is not a counselling, therapy or mental health service.

Anything shared during the Conversation is a personal and general opinion drawn from professional experience in hiring.

You remain solely responsible for the decisions you make about your career.

4. Fees

4.1 The service is currently free

The Conversation is offered free of charge. We do not ask for payment details, and there is no cost, obligation or commitment of any kind attached to booking one.

4.2 Our commitment on the first 100 conversations

The first one hundred (100) Conversations will be provided free of charge.

We will not introduce a fee of any kind before that number has been reached.

4.3 If we introduce a fee later

We may introduce a fee for the Conversation in the future.

If and when we do, the fee and the date it takes effect will be published on the Website before it applies to anyone.

  • It will apply only to Conversations booked on or after that effective date.
  • It will never be applied retrospectively.
  • Any Conversation already booked will be honoured free of charge.
  • No free Conversation will convert into a paid service automatically.
  • Nothing will be charged without your explicit, separate agreement at the time of booking.
  • We will not collect payment details until a fee is actually in effect.

5. Signing in with Google

An account is required to book a Conversation, and accounts are created by signing in with Google.

We request only the basic sign-in scopes — openid, userinfo.email and userinfo.profile.

  • We receive only your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
  • We do not request, receive or have any access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar or any other Google service.
  • We use this information solely to identify you, create and secure your account, and contact you about your Conversation.
  • We never use it for advertising, never sell it, and never transfer it to anyone except as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • You can disconnect our access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
  • You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Your account

  • Keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Give us information that is accurate and your own.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
  • You may ask us to close your account at any time by writing to support@returntowork.in .

7. Booking, rescheduling and cancellation

  • Conversations are booked through the scheduling tool on the Website, subject to availability.
  • You may reschedule or cancel using the link in your confirmation email. Please give at least 24 hours' notice where you can.
  • We may need to reschedule and will give you as much notice as we reasonably can.
  • If you do not join within ten minutes of the scheduled start, the booking may be treated as cancelled.
  • You are welcome to book again.
  • We may decline or discontinue a booking where conduct is abusive, where the request falls outside the scope of the service, where the eligibility conditions are not met, or where a slot appears to have been booked in bad faith.

How the Conversation takes place

Conversations are held over Google Meet. A joining link is sent with your booking confirmation.

We do not record, transcribe, or generate automated notes of the Conversation, and any such feature available in the platform is kept switched off.

If you would prefer a telephone call instead, tell us when you book.

8. Available in India only

This service is offered solely to persons resident in and located in India.

It is not offered, marketed or directed to persons outside India, and in particular it is not offered to persons in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.

When you book a Conversation you will be asked to confirm that you are resident in and currently located in India.

If we learn that you are not, we may cancel the booking and will delete the personal data you submitted, save for anything we are required by law to retain.

If you are ordinarily resident in India but happen to be travelling abroad on the date of your Conversation, that does not disqualify you — the test is where you live, not where you are sitting on the day.

9. Your responsibilities

  • Do not upload or share confidential, proprietary or trade-secret information belonging to a current or former employer, or any document you are not permitted to share.
  • Do not share the personal data of any other person without their consent.
  • Do not record the Conversation without our prior written consent. We will not record you without yours.
  • Do not use the Website to transmit anything unlawful, misleading, or harmful, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it.
  • Treat the Conversation, and the person on the other side of it, with basic courtesy.

10. Confidentiality

What you tell us through the intake form and during the Conversation is treated as confidential.

We do not share it with employers, recruitment agencies, job boards or any third party, except where we are required to by law or a court order, or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to prevent serious harm to you or to another person.

11. Reviews and testimonials

You may be invited to leave a review after your Conversation. Leaving one is entirely optional, and declining makes no difference to the service you receive.

  • Every review published on the Website comes from a real person who has actually had a Conversation with us.
  • We publish a review only where the reviewer has separately and expressly agreed to publication.
  • We do not edit a review in any way that changes its meaning.
  • You may ask us at any time to remove a published review of yours.
  • We will not quote you, name you, or use your story in any marketing, social media or case study without your separate written permission.

12. No relationship created

Nothing in these Terms or in the Conversation creates an employment, agency, partnership, fiduciary or advisory relationship between you and us.

Nothing creates any obligation on our part to represent you, refer you, or introduce you to any employer.

13. Intellectual property

All content on the Website — text, graphics, logos, video and design — belongs to Lostmy Job Pvt. Ltd. or is used with permission.

You may read it and link to it. You may not copy, republish or use it commercially without our written permission.

You keep all rights in what you submit, including your resume.

By submitting it you grant us a limited, revocable permission to read and use it solely to prepare for and conduct your Conversation.

14. Third-party services

The Website relies on third-party services for sign-in, scheduling, form submission, file storage, email, messaging and video calls.

Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

The Website may link to third-party sites over which we have no control and for which we accept no responsibility.

15. Availability and disclaimer

The Website and the Conversation are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that the guidance provided will produce any particular result, that the Website will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any content is complete or current.

Hiring practices vary by employer, sector and moment, and no guidance can account for every circumstance.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Indian law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss — including loss of employment, loss of an offer, loss of income or loss of opportunity — arising out of your use of the Website or the Conversation.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the service shall not exceed ₹1,000, or the amount you have actually paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, from information you submit that you were not entitled to share, or from your infringement of the rights of any third party.

18. Suspension and withdrawal

We may suspend or withdraw access to the Website, or decline to provide a Conversation, where we reasonably consider it necessary.

We may also discontinue the service entirely. If we do, we will honour any Conversation already booked, or tell you promptly if we cannot.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The version published on the Website, with the effective date at the top, is the one that applies.

Where a change is material — in particular, the introduction of a fee under Clause 4 — we will give notice on the Website and, where we hold your email address, by email, before it takes effect.

20. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to Clause 21, the courts at Gurugram, Haryana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them.

21. Grievances

If something goes wrong, please write to us first.
